I’m sure, like me, you are getting a ton of email updates about what is going on not only nationally but internationally. I have received an email (all on the same subject) from every business I have ever been to my entire life! I know this may be coming at ya via email but with a title like ‘Keep It Moxie’ we are trying to lighten the mood a bit. If this blog included everything I wanted it would be a TLDR (too long didn’t read). So we’re going to do a ‘Keep It Moxie’ series. The following blogs will be short and sweet with ideas to keep you focused on what’s important or to help fill your time with productive and healthy activities. We will try to keep up with our social media to help spread the word and direct you to the blog and share fun and helpful information from contributors. If you have any ideas or have a service that we can share please reach out to us at beyou@moxietogo.com. We want to support small business owners like us!

You might be in the first week of social distancing or have lost count of the days and don’t know when life will be back to its normal pace. Some are working from home or taking care of children’s education, possibly both. You might just be taking a break from work and completely bored out of your mind as well as overwhelmed with stress and anxiety. Whatever the case may be you may need to create some separation in your home with moving from task to task or keep your mind and body busy. For example, I am home trying to generate work with clients online so it’s not my usual work hours. Needless to say I have a lot more free time. How do we make this time flow smoothly and try and get some enjoyment out of it?

One of my first suggestions would be to keep your life as consistent as possible. Keep your regular meal prepping, exercises(altered accordingly), household duty schedule, self care routine, and maybe even add some things you’ve been wanting to do but can’t seem to find the time on the reg. Yes, this can all be done from home without spending a fortune! We are here to help. Over the next few days and weeks(who knows!) we will be providing you with some resources for all those things and whatever else to stave off boredom. Stay tuned for more social distancing survival tips.

xx
Rachel
